Teacher Strike

As a candidate for city council, I believe a strong public education system is essential for building a thriving, resilient city. While I don’t have children myself, I’m grateful for the excellent teachers I had growing up  they made a lasting impact on my life. Our educators play a foundational role in shaping the future of our communities, and that work deserves both respect and recognition.

I stand firmly behind our education system and hope that all parties involved in the current discussions can come to a fair and responsible resolution. Teachers are vital to our children’s growth, and I trust that through respectful mediation, solutions can be found that reflect both the needs of our educators and the long-term stability of the system as a whole
